Welcome to my Sculpture and Art Work

Working in clay and other mediums brings me the satisfaction and the joy of being able to create the ideas that seem to lodge in my head. Ideas and thoughts fight for first place and often, just because I want to see how it will look when it's finished, an idea is born. My work is a variety of subjects not based on the market and what will sell or be popular but is done for the pleasure of seeing it created. When planning a large piece for a commission, I work with my feelings and look past the hard work and long hours. I feel that we need more public art so more and more people, especially children, will grow up appreciating the creativity that lies in all of us. The next generation must be exposed to all types of art from dance to the visual arts. We all must nurture and encourage each and every child so they will know what great beauty and wonder comes from all art.
